Life Stages

A series of costumes made from domestic materials (scourers, dishcloth cotton, mops), photographed on models.  Life Stages takes an ironic look at day-to-day life and the way people’s roles in society are perceived.  The costumes are inspired by useful items of clothing but are subverted so become ‘not fit for purpose’, uncomfortable, liable to disintegrate or are just inappropriate.
